Dr. Aliakbar Barati is a member of the faculty of Agricultural Management and Development, University of Tehran, Iran. He is also a visiting fellow at CLISEC. His research interests include land use planning, sustainable agricultural development, socioeconomics modeling and simulation, and climate changes. His studies focus on modeling and simulating land-use and climate changes trends, their interactions, causes and effects by using system dynamics, agent-based modeling and game theory techniques. He teaches system dynamics, system thinking, simulation and modeling, agribusiness development and natural resources management and governance.
