Ellinor von der Forst was a PhD candidate, jointly supported by CLISEC and the Climate Service Center Germany. Her main focus lies on climate change vulnerability, its assessment and management and what role human behavior plays. The thesis focuses on two case studies in Mexico and South Africa.
Ellinor received her master degree in Global Change Ecology at the University of Bayreuth with a thesis on vulnerability indices. Before, she studied Geography at the universities of Marburg and Freiburg where she started her work on climate change and risk analysis.
