Jun. Prof. Dr. Janpeter Schilling

Janpeter Schilling holds a junior professorship for Landuse Conflicts at the Institute for Environmental Sciences of the University of Koblenz-Landau and he is the Scientific Director of the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate. He has an expertise on conflicts, security, landuse, resources, climate change, vulnerability, adaptation, sustainability, resilience and development. His regional focus includes eastern and northern Africa as well as South America and South Asia. He has published widely in high ranking international journals and a track record of leading and acquiring externally funded research projects.
