Julia Röttinger
Julia Röttinger is a PhD candidate at the institute of Geography and the research group Climate Change and Security at the University of Hamburg. Her research interests concern the conflict-sensitive adaptation to climate change. She currently focuses on the link between water scarcity and protest violence in South Africa. Her goal is to contribute to the field of research where climate science meets peace and conflict studies through an integrated approach. Julia obtained her master's degree in Justice and Transformation from the University of Cape Town.
